OVERNIGHT CHARTERS ABOARD THE REEF ISLAND.
The Reef Island 1 is a 53 foot Canoe Cove built in Victoria B.C. She is powered by turbo-charged twin diesels giving her a cruising speed of 12 knots, and a top speed of 20 knots. She is equipped with v.h.f. and single sideband radios, autotel telephone system, video sounder, autopilot, g.p.s., Nobletec computerized navigation system, and 24 mile radar. On board power is supplied by a 14-kilowatt diesel genset, as well as a 2,000-watt inverter. We also have a 600 gal. Per day desalination plant, so taking showers is never a problem.

The boat comfortably sleeps four guests in two well-appointed staterooms, as well as having two salon tables that convert into double beds. She has a fully equipped galley, including microwave, toaster and coffee maker. For fish care we have a stand up plate freezer, as well as a conventional chest freezer. The Reef Island is a self-contained mobile fishing camp offering our guests the best in on the water accommodation and comfort.

THE CAPTAIN
Steve Carpenter has 36 years experience in both the commercial fishing and charter industries, on both the Atlantic and Pacific oceans. He is a top notch on board chef, and expert guide and fisherman. Steve has also held a freshwater guiding license for the past 20 years. Steve's' qualifications are as follows:
